Drivers meeting
The bus had some brake work along with new front tires over the winter
Dede Padberg and Jimmy Crawford had b-day cakes
White on red is easy to see
Black on red is very hard on the corner workers
Shoe polish hasn't been allowed for 2 years for the same reasons
"Closer to that cone, grasshopper!"

The long way around
Mike's traveling less distance and doesn't have to turn the wheel as much to set up for the next gate. This is after the skidpad turn. They train us in Drivers Ed to stay away from obstacles but in Solo it pays to get as close as you can to certain cones.
Just don't get too close

Did he or did he not continue around? Smack talking Bill "I never spin" Knighton's S2000. The video was up for bid on ebay. Bill made a feeble effort to outbid Steve Wynveen who wanted to preserve the sight for humanity. Here's the video proof, a 2.7 meg file of Bill going around.
