The Milwaukee Region Sports Car Club of America presents their annual Solo II Driver’s School on April 24^th. The day will begin with a classroom session at Kuglisches West at 4401 W. Greenfield Ave. In the classroom, you will learn theories on car control, and performance driving. We talk a little about car preparation and what to expect when you arrive at an event. We will explain the SCCA Solo II car classes, how the index system works and how to calculate event points. In addition, we will discuss what it takes to go autocrossing safely. Then after the classroom session is over we will proceed to the parking lots at Milwaukee County Stadium where the instructors will be waiting to take you out to the course. There you will have a chance to drive your car on a Solo II course with an instructor to help bring you up to speed. Then you’ll be ready for the first event of the season on Sunday April 25^th! Directions to Kuglisches: Exit I-94 at County Stadium on Hwy.41 going south. Go two blocks to Greenfield, and then turn right. Kuglisches is on the left, park and enter in the rear. Drivers School registration opens at: 8:30 am, classroom begins at: 9:30 am. Get there early for doughnuts and auto-x videos!
